There are three separate burial grounds, known as the "Ancient", "Old" and "New" Grounds.
(An adjacent "Civic" cemetery to the north, and a smaller raised area for interment of ashes to the east of the New Ground came into service in 1999. Both are administered and maintained by Settle Town Council and do not form part of these records.)
